Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... We loved the Shamrock ☘️. Would very happily stay again and recommend to others. Very close to town and ammenities. Bed was comfortable. Next time I would ask for a room not near generator which came on intermittently. Had to close window because of the noise so no fresh air. Lifts not stairs 👍on-site complimentary parking.

On the banks of the River Shannon, Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone is situated in the town centre, overlooking the historic Athlone Castle. The hotel has a modern leisure club and stylish restaurant. Very comfortable bed, spacious, fresh, clean room with bathtub and a shower. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Very friendly staff bar food was excellent a great atmosphere in the bar will be back again

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. Really good location and a beautiful hotel. Good value for money with extremely friendly staff and great food at the restaurant. They catered for all our needs and more. Thanks to all staff who made our stay amazing!

Located in Athlone town centre, Arch House is just 2 minutes' walk from the historic Athlone Castle, Old Town, and River Shannon. Very warm friendly and helpful owners at this B and B and was pleased we stayed there. Was in a great location to all the sites in this gorgeous town. And thankyou for helping us find more accommodation in this town to stay another night. We loved this town.

Next to Mullingar Train Station, The Newbury has free super-fast WiFi, free parking and a bar that serves good food. Great location lovely friendly staff Excellent food in the Chinese restaurant Rooms very comfortable,
