Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. We did not have time to use the spa. Breakfast choice was very good. The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan is 500 metres from the Smyril Line Ferry Terminal in Seydisfjördur. WiFi and parking are free. Beliggenheten var perfekt. Spiste ikke frokost.

This is not a posh hotel.. but it has such a nice ambiance for relaxation and meditation! It has a nostalgic feel to it! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is great.. we had a very delicious dinner and a good breakfast! The food was outstanding and affordable! The waitress was very attentive and kind. The surroundings of the property is exceptional.. with the hotel overlooking the lake and the mountains.. on the sides there are small ports and the back of a hotel is a resting town rich in history.

Set in Seydisfjördur village, this accommodation offers rooms with free WiFi. Egilsstadir village is 28 km away. The property also offers on-site free parking. We had a great stay at Hotel Aldan. There was plenty of free parking, and the hotel was so centrally located in Seydisfjordur (walking distance to the rainbow street, the main reception and restaurant). The room itself was decorated in an antique-y style but was clean and the bathroom was very modern. The bed was very comfortable, there was a kettle with free tea and coffee, and we had a great view out to the mountain. Check in was fairly easy although located in another building.

This Seydisfjordur Guesthouse is situated in the eastern fjords of Iceland, 25 minutes’ drive from Egilsstadir Airport. It offers free WiFi and a garden. Very clean, spacious, plus big bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, free coffee!

Hotel Breiddalsvik ligger i kystlandsbyen Breiddalsvik, og har en stor terrasse med åpen peis og rom med satellitt-TV og skrivebord. Den islandske motorvei 1 passerer rett ved hotellet. Very cozy, comfortable, clean. Nice personnel and you have access to tea/coffee area. Also, sauna and hot tube available, unfortunately we didn’t have to use it, but it looked nice. Breakfast was tasty too.
