Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Homemade breakfast buffet. Very cozy room. Excellent views of lake and mountain. Amazing location near a puffin colony. Bathroom extremely clean even though not private. Highly recommend staying here.

Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan is 500 metres from the Smyril Line Ferry Terminal in Seydisfjördur. WiFi and parking are free. Beautifully located place with lots of character and incredible mountain views. Really friendly check in and were flexible with a last minute room change which was much appreciated.

This design hotel is located in Fáskrúdsfjördur village in Iceland’s Eastfjords region. It offers free parking and tastefully decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. This is not a posh hotel.. but it has such a nice ambiance for relaxation and meditation! It has a nostalgic feel to it! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is great.. we had a very delicious dinner and a good breakfast! The food was outstanding and affordable! The waitress was very attentive and kind. The surroundings of the property is exceptional.. with the hotel overlooking the lake and the mountains.. on the sides there are small ports and the back of a hotel is a resting town rich in history.

Set in Seydisfjördur village, this accommodation offers rooms with free WiFi. Egilsstadir village is 28 km away. The property also offers on-site free parking. We liked everything. Excellent location in the beautiful Seyðisfjörður, historic house, nice furnishings, comfortable and clean room. Although not included, I recommend their typical delicious buffet breakfast.

This Seydisfjordur Guesthouse is situated in the eastern fjords of Iceland, 25 minutes’ drive from Egilsstadir Airport. It offers free WiFi and a garden. Perfect location and facilities, highly recommended!!

Situated in the coastal village of Breiddalsvík, Hotel Breiddalsvik offers a large terrace with an open fireplace and rooms with a satellite TV and work desk. Very cozy, comfortable, clean. Nice personnel and you have access to tea/coffee area. Also, sauna and hot tube available, unfortunately we didn’t have to use it, but it looked nice. Breakfast was tasty too.
