Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. The staffs are very nice and the breakfast is super delicious.

Everything was so wonderful! The host was so sweet, welcoming and helpful. We got to watch the northern lights from the hot tub which was so magical. Breakfast was a standard Icelandic breakfast and was delicious. The chocolate bread was my favorite. It was also probably the cutest guesthouse I've every stayed in with eclectic decor.

Found by bubbling geothermal springs in Hveragerdi, this hotel offers an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs and sauna. All rooms include bathrobes, slippers and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free. everything! the beds were comfortable, the hot tub,sauna and hiking wonderful and the food and atmosphere were amazing !
