Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. The rooms were very clean, modern, well designed and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options. The staff was friendly and virtuous. The location was remote and excellent for northern light watching.

The restaurant was great, hot tub under the northern lights... Bathrobe and flip flops provided for the hot tub. The rooms are compact but comfortable. The pictures on booking don't do justice to this hotel. The only place I would highly recommend in Iceland after staying in 9 different hotels across the country.
