The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... We had the best experience! Hotel staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The bar was a highlight for us and they made special drinks to appease my husband’s curiosity about the Arrack. Definitely a highlight of our entire trip!

You will find a kettle in the room. 10/10 very charming right in the middle of Galle fort. The room was smelling so good, and always tidy. Staff amazing, always smiling and very friendly. Just great. Classy.

Beautiful location right by the ocean and fort, short walk to shops and restaurants. The food they cooked was delicious and the rooftop bar and balcony had such beautiful views! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly! Could not reccomend this place more, great value for money!!

This is an exceptional place to stay - we could not recommend it more highly. Beautiful jungle location teaming with birds and wildlife, gorgeous tasteful rooms, convenient location near Galle Fort and all the nearby beaches. Best of all were the staff. Anitha ran the most seamless operation and is a world class masseuse - make sure to try one of her treatments. Hashani’s food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka by far. Perera went out of his way to make us feel welcome and keep the place spotless.

We really enjoyed our time here. They had a good parking area for our rented tuktuk. The room was great but what really stood out was the rooftop patio. It was nice seating up there for sunset. The family were very kind. Good location with everything in walking distance. It was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless!

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. A beautiful stay, elegantly designed and decorated, very tasteful… the people are very friendly… the pool was beautiful. Can’t go wrong.

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away). Really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic facilities, incredibly helpful staff. The breakfast is incredible!

Roman Beach offers spacious air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, high ceilings and views of the sea. Located on Hikkaduwa Beach, it presents an outdoor pool and a private beachfront. The staff were exceptional and the food was fantastic!

Suite Lanka sits on the sands of Hikkaduwa Beach, one of the widest beaches on Sri Lanka’s west coast. Offering spacious accommodation, it has an outdoor pool and restaurant. Nice little boutique hotel tucked at the far end of Hikkaduwa beach, away from the hustle and bustle from the main part. Despite this, the hotel is surrounded by great little restaurants (not to mention its own restaurant). We had a very relaxing time thanks to the great service and chilled out atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing time on the beach.

The Fortress is located along the beach, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It offers spacious accommodation, an outdoor pool and 2 restaurants. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free. The best EVER!! My only regret is that I only stayed 3 nights! I loved this place from the moment I arrived until I left!! I wish I could bottle this place and take it with me!!
