Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. It was a welcome rest as we arrived by bike. The front entrance is vintage and unassuming…but behind the long hedge is a huge beer garden which serves very tasty and reasonably priced food. We didn’t go in to the restaurant as the beer and garden food sufficed. The room was comfortable and looked in to the courtyard. The staff were all very friendly and were able to accommodate our bicycles. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend people go in the front door and check it out.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Villa with Lake View at this bed and breakfast, and I must say it was an absolutely spectacular experience. I arrived late, well past 9 pm, and was greeted with a warm and cozy room. It was a perfect welcome after a long journey. The room was not only comfortable but also spacious, and the highlight for me was the bathroom, which had a lovely bathtub. It was a great touch for those relaxing soak sessions after a day of exploring. The breakfast provided was nothing short of delightful. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and I was particularly impressed by how accommodating they were to my allergy needs. It's always a relief when a place takes such good care of their guests. The staff at this B&B were a highlight of my stay. They were incredibly lovely, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. The reception provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, which made my stay even more enjoyable. But what truly sets this place apart is the view. It's not just a view; it's an experience in itself. The breathtaking vistas of the lake were the icing on the cake and made my stay truly exceptional. I couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and take in the natural beauty. In summary, my stay at this bed and breakfast was memorable for all the right reasons. If you're looking for a cozy, well-serviced place with stunning views and a helpful staff, this is the place to be. Just be prepared for a bit of a workout to reach it!

Guests under the age of 25 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The legal guardian must provide a current photo ID or proof of guardianship if requested upon check-in. Everything was immaculately clean, we felt comfortable in every way. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed and obviously very well maintained. The kitchen was a delight! We saved some money by cooking a few meals, and it was equipped with everything we needed and more! The staff was courteous and helpful. We could walk to town easily, but we were away from the hubub for quiet nights.. 5 stars!
