Set in Stratford, 24 km from Hollard Gardens, Ngati Ruanui Stratford Mountain House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Guests can make use of a bar. Greeted on arrival. Staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Mountain view from rear window of room. Quiet location. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was nice with a spa bath. Bed and pillows were really comfy. Restaurant food was lovely and good value for money.

Set in New Plymouth, 1.9 km from Fitzroy Beach, Nice Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This 5-star hotel offers room service and free WiFi. We were greeted by lovely, helpful, friendly people who went out of their way to suggest great places to eat and visit. The room was really comfortable and clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Sadly, we could only stay one night and wish it could have been more

Set in New Plymouth, Hosking House is a historic bed and breakfast that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes and a garden. The hosts couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating, from providing help with food, suggestions for what to see, laundry, etc. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown New Plymouth with restaurants, museums and the coastal walkway and an easy drive to Mt. Taranaki and hiking trails. All in all, a wonderful way to start our visit to New Zealand.
