Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. A pleasant surprise. A bit out of the center in a good way. Still within walking distance of a supermarket and some restaurants. Access to the river was great. Spacious room. Full kitchen, well-equipped overall. A lodge-like feel. Quiet.

Makes good use of the outdoor space as well. Feels as though you are spending time in the forest. One of our nicest spots to stay - Highly recommend it!

Featuring quiet street views, Cathedral Cove Apartment offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 500 metres from Hahei Beach. We liked the space of the apartment, its location, the kindness of our hosts, who informed us of the works on the road, booked for us the boat for Cathedral Cave water taxi, and even accompanied us, we were very just in timing. Their home was so cozy and they made us feel so welcomed. The house was clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Highly recommend staying with them!

Other guests there were friendly and nice to spend time with in the communal area which had games and books to use. Very clean and comfortable space to relax in. Very comfortable room, good bed and quiet. This allowed us to have a great nights sleep that we really appreciated. The room was clean and appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The host provided info on nearby restaurants and those who deliver. There is on-site parking that is included in the stay.

The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub. Lovely accomodating staff. Room clean, good facilities. Nice location.

The views from the property are astoundingly beautiful, you almost just want to stay here all the time and look out. The rooms were super clean and comfortable- the whole property is really well-maintained and tended. The owners are incredibly kind, helpful, and generous, we were blown away by their hospitality. Would definitely stay here again.
