Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, next to a peaceful river and surrounded by trees and green areas. My suite facing the gardens was spectacular and my bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have used in my life. The breakfast buffet which runs til 10am was exquisite and the tea station was the fanciest I have ever enjoyed. The best part of the hotel however were the PEOPLE. It's clear to me from the moment I entered and every call I made that these professionals have not only studied about hospitality but have received countless trainings because they really do their best to make you feel like a king and queen. Incredibly kind, smart, and warm humans. I slept soundly, danced freely with their jbl blue tooth speaker and enjoyed a very memorable bubble bath. Their pools and spas were gorgeous and their private beer bar was delightful. When you go be sure to make time to sit and read outside the breakfast area to see the urubamba river and watch the birds and butterflies. I drank many teas outdoors and I will always remember those quiet moments. When you go to the game area definitely enjoy a round of Sapo 🐸 and Id you don't know how to play ask a staff member. it's a traditional Peruvian game that can be enjoyed alone or with friends.

Great find in quiet neighborhood. The rooms, breakfast and owners are wonderful. They let us park our motorcycles here while we went to Machu Picchu. Gladys picked herbs to make us some herbal tea when we weren’t feeling well. They have laundry service. They are helpful when it comes to tours or anything you may need. This is a great find

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. The grounds were beautiful, the room was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. It is one of the nicest hotel experiences we’ve had!

As a travel agent, I can be picky with my expectations but this property is highly recommended. The view from the patio is amazing and you can spend your time on it. The rooms, bathrooms are very clean. The bed is super comfortable. You can tell they put an effort. Most of all this looks like a family managed place and that reflects in the very warm welcome we received.

The owner is very attentive and helped our group to move all the luggage to our rooms and prepared a wonderful breakfast with abundant fruits. The location is extremely good- only 2 minutes walking to Inca rail ticket office and waiting room. Storing luggage is convenient and efficient so our visit to machupichu is so pleasant with only a day pack.
