Daniel at the reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival. He would immediately respond and truly went above and beyond! The entire staff at the hotel was superb! We had an incredible experience and treated us like royalty. Highly recommend.

Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. During my stay at this extraordinary hotel by the Douro River in Portugal, I was thoroughly impressed. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel's ambiance and amenities exceeded my expectations, and the restaurant, offering fine dining, was a culinary delight. Every meal was an exquisite experience for the taste buds. What truly made this stay exceptional was the staff—extremely pleasant and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a memorable visit. Moreover, the breathtaking view of the Douro River from my window was simply spectacular. It added an unforgettable touch to my time at the hotel. I highly recommend this remarkable destination for anyone seeking a luxurious and delightful retreat along the beautiful Douro River.

Douro Hotel Porto Antigo asub Douro jõe ääres ajaloolises hoones. Kohapeal on välisbassein, massaažiteenused ja restoran, kus pakutakse Euroopa roogasid. We should have stayed longer. 2 nigh was not enough to properly appreciate the location and service this hotel offered. Beautiful location, with views to the river, excellent food, comfortable rooms and bed, quiet relaxation. Massage also available. Staff is more than happy to assist anything you might need. Leisurely drive away from fantastic wineries. I would highly recommend it.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. Superb stay - the view was amazing and the service and food/drinks were excellent.

Quinta Do Bosque pakub mäevaatega majutust koos vaatega basseini, aia ja baariga. Douro muuseum on umbes 15 km kaugusel. If I could, I'd give it 1000 stars! The details, the cordiality and attention to customer, everything impeccably clean, the amazing view, the spectacular breakfast, the charm of the decor. We were warmly welcomed on arrival with tea and delicious biscuits! In the evening we booked dinner which was magnificent!!! The room has details that make it very cosy and comfortable! The bed is super comfortable! It was my husband's birthday and we were surprised with a delicious Brownie Cake with congratulations! They really are special and deserve all the stars! The little mascot "Becas" makes everything even more special! Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

Featuring river views, Casa de São Domingos offers accommodation with pool with a view, a garden and a bar, around 1.8 km from Douro Museum. Great location (the views!) and friendly, welcoming staff! It was great to use the pool and outdoor space on a sunny day :)

The gardens were beautiful for strolling. The common space outside and in the breakfast room was brilliantly conducive for meeting other guests and swapping ideas. Maria was absolutely lovely and helpful and arranged a few unforgettable experiences. We hope to return one day!

Casa do Romezal on tüüpiline Douro oru maja, mida ümbritsevad viinamarjaistandused ja kust avanevad imelised vaated ümbruskonnale. The bungalow Apartment is amazing. The pool overlooks the vineyards and is just below your balcony with the same view of sunsets. The tasting is just a walk up a few steps and you can walk several paths in the area. Breakfast is not included if the 3 rooms in the main house are booked so plan accordingly. Marguerida gave me a small box of milk so I could make coffee in the morning. Once here you will never want to leave so I agree with the 2 night minimum stay so you can do the wine route which involves narrow winding roads. Make sure you do a full tasting here with Luis. Gueda vineyards has been operating for hundreds of years so you are supporting a small family and local workers and their families in this beautiful part of the world. Several wines are also available in the apartment to purchase. We know others were rushing to do 3 tastings in a day but when you stay here one is enough. Take a break and slow down here.

Quinta do Outeiro asub Resendes, kõigest 28 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist. Külalised saavad nautida aiaga basseini, kust avaneb vaade. Lisaks on kohapeal privaatne sisse- ja väljaregistreerimine. Filipe was so helpful and made sure our stay was perfect! Pictures don’t do the property justice. Gorgeous accommodations and grounds.

Great place to stay in Duoro Valley, right in the middle of everything. Very friendly, helpful staff that went over & above to make us comfortable. Smaller family-owned winery that is in the process of making great improvements for guests. Would definately stay here again if in the area.
