Hidden away from the island's busier area and offering a private beach, Larissa Samed resort features comfortable rooms, a garden and free WiFi access. Very pleasant stay. The bungalows are clean and the AC works exceptionally well. Staff are pleasant and very service minded. The beach is ideal for snorkeling and they rent gear so you can skip the day tours and simply jump in the water to see (what still remains of) the coral reef here. Beware though, WEAR BATHING SHOES (which they borrow out for free) or you might cut your feet and hands on razor sharp corals. Walking distance from Sae Kaew beach which is an absolute pearl of a beach. Clean, clear, calm, lively, spacious, has cute bars and restaurants. No doubt I would choose this place if I came back to Koh Samed, over the expensive flashy resorts next door. Of course that’s a matter of priorities, but at a place like this you get all the natural wonder, peace, central location and cozyness you can dream of for a fraction of the cost, and the only thing you don’t get is a pool and a gym.

An island getaway awaits at Ao Cho Grand View Resort in Ko Samed, a 2-hour 30-minute drive from Bangkok. Surrounded by sand and sea, it offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The beach is amazing and clean, the houses are nice and modern. The restaurant has delicious food and overall this hotel has a very relaxing welcoming atmosphere.

Sai Kaew Beach Resort sits on the adjacent Pineapple and Sai Kaew beaches on Koh Samet. It offers 3 outdoor pools, 2 beachfront restaurants and a variety of water sports. The resort was just what we wanted for an island retreat for a week. You could relax within the hotel confines and enjoy swimming pools beach and lovely bar and restaurant. Otherwise you could do boat trips. Or jump on very basic truck taxis to get around island to see more beautiful beaches.

Hub de Leaf @miðsvæðis í Rayong. Rayong býður upp á nútímaleg, reyklaus herbergi með ókeypis Wi-Fi Interneti. Staðbundnir veitingastaðir og 7-11-verslun eru staðsett í 100 metra fjarlægð frá hótelinu.... The location in Rayong is pretty good for a short stay, but you do need transport as restaurants, etc, are too far to walk and the route is very dark at night. Room size is fine and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of parking at the hotel. The cost is good for the quality of hotel.

Gististaðurinn er umkringdur suðrænum görðum og er staðsettur á Mae Rum Peung-ströndinni í Rayong-héraðinu. Það býður upp á útisundlaug og herbergi með innanhúsgarði og ókeypis Wi-Fi-Interneti. The staff (I believe it was the lady who owns the hotel) was super accomodating when I extended my stay -on the day - (twice) to keep the same room! The room was beautifully clean, light and airy with effective air conditioning, a great view from the balcony, and comfortable. I will definitely be returning because Maerumpung beach is beautiful (didn't think I'd EVER see bio phosphorescent plankton!!!!), Ban Phe has some incredible small food outlets, Thai people are amazing, and the Makmai Villa does everything you want.. with a smile! Also, Koh Samed is just a quick boat trip from here. Thank you *Makmai for being a great base and a fantastic welcome to Thailand! 🙏🏼❤️

The cottages were very clean, beds were comfy and it is right on the beach. You get a beach towel and beach bag which is very convenient. It is close to 7-11 and the main street, yet a bit secluded from any neighbours so it is quite at night. We had a great stay and enjoyed it a lot.

Bandara On Sea, Rayong is located on Mae Phim Beach. It features a private beach area, restaurant and villas with cable TV. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. This was a great little resort style Hotel... perfect for relaxing before or after travelling somewhere...
