The range of recreational options, from the well-stocked loft in each room to the guided nature walks to the excellent tree house, ensured that there was never a dull moment. We loved the sumptuous breakfast spread, the unique taste of rai saag at lunch freshly plucked from the garden, piping hot finger chips with our evening tea. Lovely trails snake through the forest leading to quaint little church buildings and gumpha s with breathtaking view points. Super friendly dogs keep you company all along the way. The rooms are squeaky clean and bathrooms are fitted with water heaters and showers to rejuvenate your tired body after a steep climb.The quirky furniture, the cosy library space with an interesting and eclectic collection of books all add to the wholesome and eminently agreeable vibes of the place.If you are up for a fuss free getaway into the lap of nature, this is the place for you.

The hosts have trained the staff to very high standards, meaning they are attentive, respectful as well as discreet. ‘What you see is what you get’ is how I would describe the rooms - just as in the pictures - neat, clean, well-appointed and spacious. Running hot and cold water in the taps was quite unexpected but welcome! There’s wifi good enough to do remote work, backup power to charge devices in case of power cuts and plenty of open space to spend your days. The food is par excellence and a lot of the ingredients are sourced from their farm. Just sitting on the veranda, you’ll see a variety of birdlife. The hosts complete the experience at this property, providing personal attention to each guest. They also employ local villagers, which I much appreciated. The accommodation is built in the traditional style, to high sustainability standards. All-in-all, I had a very upscale homestay / farmstay experience.
