The accommodations were stunning. Located right on the beach, we fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean and wildlife. When we first arrived we enjoyed a sangria while sitting on the beach beside a beautiful fire. We didn't know until we got there that we had an entire "front yard" attached to our glamping site, with our own private sitting area with hammocks, and direct beach access. The outdoor shower was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were absolutely lovely... I very highly recommend this place.

The location is up the hills in Minca and is a bumpy ride to get there, but that is to be expected since you are in nature. Our room was big and spacious and we had an amazing view that was a combo of nature and the city of Santa Marta. They had amazing juices and the food was really up to standards. The tours/cleansing ceremonies that we booked through them were really nice and worth it for the money. We did the fire ceremony, ancestral healing massage and cocao tour with waterfall (lot of walking but worth it!). The staff was very friendly and the property was amazing to unwind and relax. Take note that to get to your room you do have to climb some stairs that are made of rocks but it's totally doable, just not your typical hotel, but again you are in nature and its to be expected.

I’m writing this for the benefit of those who are thinking about booking and reading posts that seem to comment without understanding what Wachakyta is about. It scored 10 because the whole experience was brilliant. Where else in the world can you spend the night on a deserted beach, with a chef, a bar, unlimited water, coffee tea etc etc? There is also free wifi (which didn’t always work when you were away from the main area). But you have to realise you are in a beach hut. You’ll get critters, wind, the sound of the sea and everything nature has. Sure, you’ll also have a comfortable bed, good quality sheets (and a mozzie net) so it’s not without some creature comforts. The prices charged for food and drink were perfectly fine given everything (including you!!) has to be delivered by boat. And the food is cooked to order… they will come to find you about two hours before lunch or dinner and you make your selection and choose the time. The boat, by the way, is a separate business but you’ll get details on how to book and as someone who speaks only a little Spanish, the whole process was done by what’s app. They picked us up at 4.20 on the Wednesday exactly as promised. And that, my friends, is our summary. This is a get away from the world place. Enjoy nature, wildlife, the sun, the stars and escape.

Location is amazing. Right in the middle of the nature! The family that runs the place is so kind in helpful. I had my foot injured and they offered to help me with my luggage (which was huge by the way). You feel that you are part of family there, they explain a lot of things about wildlife and plants, even they have a natural pool & jacuzzi ...if ypu go there it worth to give a try. The road until you reach the reception is so beautiful..really liked the bamboo bridge! They can help with organising tour (don't miss the birding tour in Minca)...also they organised my shuttle to the airport and everything went so smoothly. Thank you so much for a delicious breakfast and all the experiente that you offer for each person that stays at Minca Glamping. Definitely a place where I would like to come back. Feliz Navidad!

Nastanitev BAJO EL CIELO Glamping MINCA se nahaja 24 km od znamenitosti Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino in ponuja vrt, teraso ter sobno postrežbo. We had a really good experience at Bajo el cielo. The staff is super friendly, and they treat you like royalty. The view is AMAZING. We stayed here during summer. Upon check out, we meet the manager, and I mentioned to him, that the glampings are in need of ceiling fans, because it is hot at night time during the SUMMER, and he completely ignored my suggestion. Hope the owners can do something in regards to ceiling fans, or mini splits a/c. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

Offering free toiletries, this tent includes a shared bathroom with a shower. Guests can enjoy a patio and an outdoor dining area. The unit offers 4 beds. It is only a few blocks to the beach. Patricia cooks delicious food and her husband has a van and can drive you to other destinations. The bedroom and bathrooms are very clean. The huge yard has hammocks, work area, picnic tables and restrooms. It is two blocks from a hiking trail to another beach. You do not need a car. We had a great vacation!
