Located in the heart of the capital, The Oberoi, New Delhi enjoys an enviable setting with uninterrupted views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb and the verdant expanse of the Delhi... The room was furnished to a high standard, quiet and comfortable. Check in was directly in the room and welcoming, smooth and efficient. Tea and coffee were brought promptly to the room. Dinner was superb and the chef immediately embraced our feedback when we informed him we prefer less salt. All in all another great experience. Appreciated the pick up from the airport after a long flight. When our train to Kalka was cancelled at the last moment the concierge made all the arrangements over night to make sure we had a car and driver on hand to drive from New Delhi to Shimla so we could get a good night’s rest and not worry about anything. Takeaway breakfast boxes were excellent.
