The surroundings are breathtaking—Trosa’s beauty is truly something special, and this accommodation made it even more magical. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, making sure everything was perfect for my stay. I loved it so much that I’m already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay just to relax and enjoy this lovely retreat. Absolutely gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of Strängnäs. You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

Small apartment upstairs was really cosy, old fashioned in a good way. Surroundings (farm) gave extremely nice atmosphere with sounds of animals etc. Host Anette gave us such a warm welcome, showed us around. Breakfast in the fridge was perfect, even for vegan and gluten-free persons in our family.

Comfortable bed and charming room. Amazing restaurant, loved eating breakfast and dinner by the fireplace. Location in the center of Trosa, the cutest town. Loved it so much, a very special weekend here.

The kitchen has it all, there are 2 bath rooms, the bed is a dream, wifi functions as it should, lighting is intuitive. This place is so beautiful and so comfortable. Great communication with host also. and if you have up to two kids they have a great small room available also.
