This place was amazing! Our hosts really went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. Renato made us breakfast to go on our early tour days by 7am. He and his wife also answered any questions we had about the area, like places to eat, and shop. Their place was beautiful and relaxing. It was the perfect place for us to stay for our first time in Albania!

Very friendly and helpful staff. He provides good price for bus/car shuttles and also great suggestions to visit Shkoder. The homestay is in nice area, close to the center, close to bus shuttles. The room is clean, well-equipped, comfortable.

The guesthouse was welcoming and had a hot homecooked breakfast and excellent coffee. You can arrive in the evening and order dinner off of a small menu. The location is up the hill from Theth on the trail, so it gives you a head start on the hike to Valbone.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The communication with the host was immediate and helpful. The boat transport was perfectly organized. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming – I can’t forget to mention how lovely they all were. If you want to truly experience Albanian hospitality – “God in the house, guest in the house” – Guri i Lekës is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Great place, we really liked it! Incredible view and quiet place. Everything you need is in the room. For those who don't want to go/drive to the center, there is a wonderful restaurant 20 meters from the hotel. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. If I could give a rating higher than 10, I would :)

The host’s daughter, Silivia, was managing my stay and was so personal and heartwarming. It really felt like coming to a home but with private space. She was so kind to me and the other guests. Top quality service. Very clean, and any requests were helped. Very fast wifi in the room. They helped me with my ovo-vegetarian diet and served food with love. Direct access to what felt like a private part of the stream. I could bathe after the pass’ hike and rejuvenate like no other. Really grateful. Nicola and his brother were the most hospitable and friendly hosts on our trip through the Balkans thus far. Their cat Poofy was also an added bonus. We had the larger room towards the front of the building which was perfect for us. The location is awesome. The AC worked well which was appreciated since we were in Shkoder over a heat wave. In the morning Nicola made fresh coffee and had various biscuits, he also went out for cheese pastry some of the mornings of our stay. The room is clean and the shared bathrooms (there are 2 between 3 rooms) is cleaned everyday. They are also able to do laundry for a small fee if needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed it. We also stored our luggage, as others have mentioned, while we went to the mountains to hike. Thank you to Nicola and his brother for everything.
