Excellent breakfast sitting either inside or out on the terrace with great views towards the Danube. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very good, clean, plenty of space and all that we needed. Steep climb, on bicycles, to reach it but very worthwhile. Breathtaking views over the surrounding area in all directions. Comfortable room with emphasis on quiet contemplation. A guests' kitchen was available if desired. The cafe/restaurant/bar closed at 18:00. Helpful reception staff. Beautiful buildings to walk around. It felt like a nice gentle touch of Provence by Danube. We've been served true home made breakfast, grape marmelade was excellent. We were lucky to stay during wine tasting weekend in some of the Wachau valley, then the evening with bottle of local wine in front of our rooms was charming. Great place to stay.
