AustraliaVreni's place was excellent! A shared bathroom and private room with everything you need. We had an excellent stay for 1 night as we hiked from Basel to Himmelried. There were cooking facilities in the room as well and the bathroom and rooms were very clean. We also received a lovely thank you gift which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great location, just outside the old town (a 10-minutes tram ride -which also takes you to the train station - or a 20-minutes very pleasant walk along the river) in a nice, quiet residential area, with plenty of shops and restaurants. The place was squeaky clean, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. They provided excellent suggestions for local dining and things to see. The B&B's location in a pleasant neighborhood is great. There's convenient public transportation very close, so getting to the city center is quick and easy.
