Vreni's place was excellent! A shared bathroom and private room with everything you need. We had an excellent stay for 1 night as we hiked from Basel to Himmelried. There were cooking facilities in the room as well and the bathroom and rooms were very clean. We also received a lovely thank you gift which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

    Rooms were charming the blonde lady in the restaurant was very nice the hotel itself is marvelous and old world the gardens are beautiul and the view from the window it is right next to train station with frequent trains to Basel( 10 mins journey)

    A fabulous find so near to Basel. I was looking for a quiet relaxing weekend to rest and work. So beautiful, the gardens, the location, the bed and breakfast all excellent. Staff were very hospitable, Thankyou

    Good location close to the station and yet quiet also has a big parking inside the Kloster Friendly staff at the reception and also on the restaurant. Good Breakfast. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are very, very clean.
