The outskirt of city centre offers jaw dropping view of Grindelwald, especially sunset and night skies. The place house itself is old and some part of it is dirty (spider webs etc) but overall cleanliness and tidy is within acceptable range. The house can easily sleep 12 guests, spacious common area, kitchen has everything we need and the host is super responsive. The staff were incredible helpful, and gave us great suggestions for hikes to do. The room was comfy and the hostel was quiet. The location was great as the bus stop was just outside and we were right next to the train station, which was convenient. The lodge’s restaurant was also good for a quick cheap eat. Nice breakfast, even for vegans with fresh fruit salad and plant based milk on request. Very friendly hosts. - Review scoreVery good · 1,571 reviewsI stayed at Eiger for 5 nights in a dorm room with 6 beds. The room was very spacious, there were many shower stalls and toilets one floor below my room. The breakfast was really nice, eggs, muesli, milk, juice, fruit, bread, cheese and cereal. Really great location close to 2 train stations and 2 cable car stations. Dom and Roman are great hosts too!
