Great location, only a short stroll to the Pirate Bay (great beach and good restaurants). The appartment is wonderful, everything is present to cook and have good time. It's a high floor appartment, so very well vented, seaview and terrace are great. If you're with a car - secured (outside) parking is available and it's very convenient to reach by a (rented) car. Walking distance to Tug boat beach and a lovely area fir snorkelling with a great bar. Bus into town (Willelmstad) easy and cheap. Use the ABC bus app only, all other information/timetables are incorrect. Bed and Bike have 3 hostels around the island. My advice - try all three. The missing breakfast option is not a problem as nice options are just around the corner as well as the city center which can be easily reached by foot. I had everything I needed to start my day, and a quiet place to return to at the end of the day. Outside garden with swimming pool and lovely people working for Hotel Bario. The hotel organised a BBQ evening with music and delicious food and salsa lessons. Free big parking space and good beds. The hotel is in a gated property not in the city center, so location is quiet and friendly, but you definitely need to rent a car if you want to go to Willemstadt.
