The accommodation was decent. The decor was a bit old-fashioned, but comfortable. The host was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast exceeded expectations. What was very important to me is that he allowed me to leave my car parked in his lot for 7 days.

We are cycling to Budapest, so this was our stop over hotel at the start of our ride. We left our car here for 12 nights in total (7 days cycling, with sightseeing time in 3 capitals). 1 night was free parking (included with the overnight accommodation), and we paid €3 per night for the other 11 nights. The hotel was clean, smart, and easy to find. The staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful, and spoke good English. The room was excellent, clean, and spacious - it was separate to the main hotel, but next to it. Breakfast was good, and a reasonable additional price. The long-term parking looks great. I was concerned about possible flooding from the river while we were cycling (Passau has flooded in June previously, the latest in 2024), but the hotel and long stay car park are built on the slope of a mini hill, so the car park is above the height of the hotel - perfect! The parking is used by cyclists and cruisers alike. It is well out the way, and I have no concerns about security. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very close to the Danube cycle path on the south bank. We cycled the north bank, but it was a short distance back into Passau to cross over.

Dinner; friendly staff. Unfortunately I had to leave after a few hours as I am travelling Europe solo in an orthopaedic Cam Boot and Canadian crutch and couldn't handle the curved wooden staircase. Didn't want to fall and cause more issues for myself

The perfect place for a family trip - in the middle of fields, with a small playground that the children loved, cute bunnies, easy parking, the owners are super friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and perfectly clean.

Dog friendly rooms clean and smart. Amazing view of the castle and really peaceful. The best thing is the chance to walk around the castle grounds.
