Really really lovely guesthouse. It was so useful having free parking in a covered parking lot right outside the property - definitely worth the 20 min walk to town for that! It is up a hill on the way back but you barely notice it, plus we enjoyed the walk after a large meal most nights! Headtorch was useful for one of the shortcuts but you could have walked on the road with streetlights. We did two walks directly from the property (one to Königsee and one to Kneifelspitz/Almbachklamm - all these trails were open in early November). The rooms were cleaned every day - even the taps were polished! We unfortunately missed the Friday night dinner - the bar area looked like it'd be really cosy to hang out in so we were sad we missed it. But breakfast was served in an equally cosy room next door where we got tips from other guests for walks. Breakfast included some delicious coffee plus bread, boiled eggs, various cheeses and meats and oj. There was also cereal and yoghurt available. Overall we loved our stay here - thank you for everything Christian!
