We felt very safe and connected with the locals, as you can see the Nubians doing their daily chores in a short walk around the area. There are good restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

The rooms were very clean and JJ’s family were extremely kind and accommodating! They came to help from the ferry pick up which is 3 minutes from the place. Good value for money.

The house is on an island, accessible only by boat. They lost my suitcase at the airport and it arrived the next day while we were on an excursion. The owner of the house kindly had to go get it on the other side of the Nile because otherwise they wouldn't have taken it to the accommodation. I was very grateful for the service.

Our stay at Nuba Heart was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality. The homemade food was absolutely delicious, adding a personal and authentic touch to our experience. Located in the heart of the oldest Nubian village, the guest house is just a short 5–7 minute walk from the ferry port and the main city can be reached in 10 min by a boat. The facilities were excellent, and every detail contributed to a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Really,really enjoyed out time in Abu Guest house ❤️it was more than a 10 it was a Eleven ,Abu makes we field like family ,first The Elefantina Island are Beautiful ,his House and Room very confortable ,great Breakfast ,The first day his son took US ,by boat to The beach ,to Nubia Village to The Sunset for a great price 😁,Next day arranged US driver to The temple ,Philae and The Dem ,for a very good price,with a great Driver ,he help US with restaurante,and transfer to Aeroport,we make with him at Sunset a wash with sand in desert ,with meditacion ,was great ,Abu is One off The most great Host i already have ,my experience beautiful Assuan ,was better beacause off him and his house ,we Will come back sure ,❤️ 10/10Thsnks Abu my friend 🤗

Our stay at La Terrace in Aswan was absolutely wonderful. The property boasts a beautiful view overlooking the Nile and the charming city of Aswan, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. One of the best aspects of La Terrace is its convenient location — it's just a short walk from the ferry that connects Aswan from outside KFC to the West Bank, making it very easy to get around. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a pleasant and restful stay. We were especially impressed by the host, who was incredibly helpful and an excellent communicator throughout our visit. They made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend La Terrace to anyone visiting Aswan!

Gorgeous Nile views from the rooftop terrace and our room balcony. Staff are very welcoming. They were very helpful when I got sick and flexible in extending our stay. We also booked a boat trip with them. Great place to stay on Elephantine.

Everything - I brought a group of 9 people to stay here and everyones feedback was it was 'something special'. The rooms were spotless, the venue had character, but also was professional. It had a very lovely restaurant attached with great value food. The guesthouse is located on Elephantine Island which is magical and relaxing and away from the intensity of Aswan. It is a homebase of the Nubian people, and they are all warm and friendly and lovely. The hotel also organised a sunset Felluca ride for my group which was divine. Because Elephantine Island is quiet and chilled, the group could wander around the island without getting hassled. And also we swam in the Nile every morning on the other side of the island, as the water is clean there and it was an amazing antidote to the heat.
