We spent one night at this hotel in the Basque Country, and let’s just say — one night was enough. It felt like a converted worker’s dormitory dropped in the middle of nowhere, with absolutely nothing around unless you count a few confused sheep. The room was renovated and looked fine at first glance — as long as you didn’t peek under the bed. On the bright side, the mattress was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Just be prepared: the Basque language is completely incomprehensible (even Google Translate gave up), and the prices were easily triple what we paid in Portugal.

Satori Suites was excellent. The room was bright, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The hosts -- David and Sergio -- were superb. I'd highly recommend it for a stay in beautiful San Sebastian.
