Loix is lovely and quiet. There is supermarket round the corner and a farmers market too (open all mornings during summer holidays) as well as a bakery. Swimming pool is great! Has all the facilities you need for a nice stay. Loix is a quieter town than the other towns and cities on Ile de Re but has a nice little market with all facilities and good food and nice vibe. We liked Loix as a central base to bike to all other places. We stayed in peak season. Owners and staff very friendly and supportive. Good bikes for rent at facilities. - Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 145 reviewsthe location is excellent, beautiful village of Loix, short walk to two very nice restaurants, short walk to sea where the sunsets are amazing , The rooms were spotless clean, nicely furnished, just a few steps to the lovely swimming pool, the hosts were brilliant, couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly, if you stay here and are offered an evening meal which you have to pre book, you would not be disappointed, top class restaurant quality food!
