We had a lovely overnight stay at Lubnaig Guesthouse. The owners were so friendly with great attention to detail ensuring we had everything we needed. The large garden area with various garden seating and sun beds was such a bonus on a gorgeous Scottish summers day/evening. Breakfast was delicious with everything freshly prepared - from fresh fruits and yoghurts, cooked breakfast choices to cheeses and freshly baked mini croissants. Thank you for a wonderful stay😊

The place was clean. The location was within easy walking distance of places to eat. The hostess was friendly. The parking was OK but cramped at the end of a cul-de-sac. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was well presented

When I walked through the front door I felt comfortable and also felt a lovely atmosphere. Beautiful layout and superbly furnished, incredibly clean. The food, staff and service excellent.

This small and comfortable family-run hotel with bar and restaurant has earned a reputation for its cuisine and friendly atmosphere.

The staff was really nice and explained everything clear and understandable. The back bar was a discover: good beer, nice local people and live music! The breakfast was jummy and complete! We would totally recommend Dalgair house.

From the moment I met Shaun and Kate they were kind, welcoming and seemed genuinely delighted that we were staying with them. I knew this was exactly what I'd been looking for for the last night of my trip with my husband and father in-law. Crannaig house is luxurious without being flashy, and the atmosphere is similar to a homestay, but with a little more finesse. Our room, Skye, had a large window overlooking the garden and forests behind,and thoughtfully placed sofa so we could enjoy the views in comfort. My father-in-law needed somewhere to stay where we didn't need to walk too far for dinner, so the option of having an evening meal at Crannaig house was perfect. Previous experience of in-house dining meant I wasn't expecting a great deal, but Shaun and Kate have worked hard to create an atmosphere that feels comfortable and enjoyable. The food is delicious, wines are carefully chosen and affordable, and the guest lounge is a lovely space where we enjoyed chatting to Shaun and Kate after dinner. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Aberfoyle this is the place to choose. I'm already thinking about planning our next trip.
