The room was huge. Very spacious, big double bed, little table and two chairs, good sized chest of drawers, and a rack for coats. Two chairs was remarkable, as I have lost count of the number of double rooms we have stayed in that only provide one chair. The bathroom was very clean, a good size as well, with a very big shower. Breakfast was great. Delicious local bacon and sausages, which we bought from the local farm shop to take home. The hosts were delightful. Warm, friendly, affable, attentive but not smothering.

Andrew and Sarah were such great and friendly hosts! They were helpful and the breakfast that we ordered was fantastic. The place is clean and comfortable for 4 of us. The location was great too, close to Bakewell town and attraction spots

A lovely period properly in a great location. Really accommodating staff even though we checked in late. Room had an excellent view over the town. There is a small lounge area and communal garden area with some seating. Very good value for the location.

    Absolutely excellent stay! Great host, lots of attention. Breakfast was really good and tailored to what was asked for. The location was also central to all the main sites, if you go to the Peak District stay here, you won't be disappointed.

    Great location, can go out for walks without needing to drive anywhere. Nice to have games to play and functional kitchen area. Hosts were very helpful supplying extra bathroom products when needed!

    Gorgeous place to stay. The hosts had thought of everything and had provided a lovely welcome pack. Really quiet area and helpful directions were provided before our arrival.

    Beautiful room, very comfortable with high-quality finishes and excellent amenities. The range of teas/coffee/biscuits and mini fridge in the room was a lovely touch! Quiet, peaceful setting within easy reach of the national park's attractions on foot and by car, with a range of good pubs/restaurants nearby. Welcoming, knowledgeable host who cooks a brilliant breakfast!
