This hotel is located in a very quiet environment not far from Yogyakarta station, with clean and highly functionable facilities as well as welcoming staff. It definitely provided a very comfortable stay for me. It is highly recommendable for its value.

The location is OK, you're very near to a supermarket, so if you want to grab a snack or water you just go downstairs, you're also close to the train station (you can walk but if you have bags I recommend you take a Gojek because you have to cross difficult roads without any crosswalk and sidewalks are difficult and sometimes, not existent). The staff is very, very nice! The room is comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is also very fast. The price is excellent for what they offer.

The location is practical for town exploration on foot. There is a Ramayana balet show just 12min away! And I can say the coffee prepared from the snooze bar is ✨

Rumah Jawa was an oasis of calm from the busy city. The staff were so kind and attentive that it felt like home from home. Breakfast was outstanding and there was a fresh supply of drinks and snacks available every day..Cleanliness was impeccable. Laundry service excellent. The local Grab taxis were so cheap we could easily get anywhere from our base of Rumah Jawa. We would wholeheartedly recommend it.

The owner Julie and her family are truly lovely people who provided such a warm welcome to their beautiful home. The property and garden are so colourful and vibrant. Local Indonesian breakfast were provided which were all excellent and catered for our very early schedules. We were even given a pack up on the day we left. Julie helped organise a tour to the temples.
