I usually wait to leave a review till after leave but keep extending)))). First when you walk in there is just very impressive artwork (talented Japanese artist mostly). Then the room - I booked a normal room but it was bigger actually 3-4 times bigger than a new york hotel room. just huge with huge couch. Then Pash (hope spell correct) was just super nice and helpful in every way. I didnt use the pool but it just done so well. I rarely leave reviews and only when I'm overly impressed with the value for price. Stayed in hotels and airbnb over 500 days straight days and this hits the Price Value top 5%. You can spend $500 a night and regret it or 20% of the Price and sleep just as well and enjoy. They hit the price value on spot.

This is the second time I stayed here. For this time I was here to attend Nyayogjazz event. The spacious and comfy room is one of the considerations. Omah Kampong also has a shared kitchen completed by a water dispenser, stove, cooking utensils and dining table. In addition, Pas Hendro, the staff is also helpful and friendly. The family that runs this guesthouse is incredibly kind and accommodating. The son helped me get cash on short notice when none of the ATMs were working for me. You have plenty of privacy on the second floor. Also you are provided with two 600ml waterbottles a day.

I've had the best time with the owner and his family. They are very generous, willing to help and welcomed me as if I was family. The bed is comfortable, it's quiet, close to shops and restaurants and easy to walk to Malioboro street
