The property was easy to locate and enjoyed a stunning vista over the fjord and surrounding mountains. The room was light, airy and well appointed. It was a comfortable room, with fabulous views out. A very short walk took you into the tiny village of Leenaun where we enjoyed the hospitality of one of the local pubs. The food served there was appetising and well-priced. We had a thoroughly good evening before retiring. We'd certainly stay there again.

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town.

Cathy was very friendly and hospitable. She cooked breakfast to everyone's specifications . The ensuite bedroom was spacious the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Cathy carried to and from the ferry.
