We had an amazing experience at Gonbo’s property, it felt like home away from home. The cleanliness and all the amenities provided like heating, spacious rooms, clean and nice washrooms. On top of that warm and good quality food. Their staff Naveen and Matilda took good care of us. Gonbo is a great guy and knows the region very well, he went out of his way to make sure we get what we need, like arranging the bike and taxi for us. The location of the hotel is great, it’s peaceful and has a great view of the mountains and Leh palace. Accessible from the main market and all the sightseeing spots

We opted for the top floor rooms. Full privacy and we got the roof all by ourself. We also opted for vegetarian food and it was delicious. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and clean.

I was initially a bit worried about parking and the safety of my car, but Sponbo Guest House exceeded all expectations. There's ample parking space, and the area is very safe, making it perfect for families. A big thank you to the owner Mr Norbu for going above and beyond—not only did they ensure everything was comfortable, but they also helped plan an itinerary for the rest of our trip, which made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. What a place. Beautiful, well kept, lovely people- great hospitality. We had to leave very early to go to the airport and they made us breakfast!
