Great sea view from the rooms large double window.
Excellent AC and fan kept the room cool.
The balcony was fantastic.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and huge quantities each day, served on the balcony. A different breakfast each day (dosa, apam,idli, hoppers, fruit, fresh juice, tea/coffee).
Late afternoon tea and battered snacks provided each day.
A useful shop downstairs.
Over the road, then over a few rocks, it is possible to swim just 50m from the room - fantastic!
The main beach is about a km up the road but I was happy with nipping over the wall.
Very friendly and kind people running the place.
Laxmi speaks excellent English.

The service was exceptional, Both Hosts and People working at the Vala House are super kind and going their way and beyond to accomodate the needs of the guests. The place is located in beautiful place, with the view on backwaters, very clean and the food is truly amazing.
