IcelandWe really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout. The breakfast was very good – fresh and with a nice variety. The area is beautiful too; it’s easy to explore nature nearby, and in the summer you can even take a boat to Grímsey. We’d definitely stay here again.

The hot springs are a lovely bonus. The staff were extremely friendly. We had read the buffet dinner was good and were glad we decided to go for it. Opposite the restaurant (Riis) which was excellent. Adjacent to the harbour (Whale tours with Lakitours). Very small and friendly (about 8 rooms) with a nice breakfast. Cafe area and a sun terrace on the 1st floor overlooking the bay (saw Whales in the bay from here). One of our two rooms was with shared bathroom (with 3 other rooms) but this was fine - very clean.
