Singapore11/10! host joanna was really excellent, she made sure that we were settled in and showed great hospitality! she had great recommendations on where to go, and also topped up the breakfast goodies for us when it was running low. the guesthouse also was really amazing - just 4 rooms and a huge living area and a very well stocked kitchen. all the kitchenware and appliances were high quality and super easy to use, and we really cooked up a feast every night because it really had everything you need! (including soy sauce for us Asians!) of the 3 nights we stayed here, we had a whole day of snow and so we just stayed in and watched tv (we really needed the downtime), and saw aurora right from the balcony one of those nights. the rooms a bit small but overall still comfortable and nice, and considering we largely hung out at the common area this really wasn't any issue.
birkilauf was HANDS DOWN our #1 accoms in iceland and i will be recommending all my friends to stay here!

What a quaint setting with the Icelandic horses milling about and two adorable, well-behaved farm dogs. Even the hot tub was lovely. I had the opportunity to do my laundry here, the hosts were extremely helpful and the breakfast was really good!
