SpainVery easy to find, just off the main road. Set in a lovely isolated location, with mountain and sea views. Very handy place to stay before we began our tour of the Westfjords the next day. Communication with the owners was very good. We arrived very late at night, after check-in hours, and their directions of how to get into the accommodation was very clear. The room was fairly large with fairly comfortable beds. The shower had good power with an ample supply of hot water. Outside the room, there is a common area with tea-making facilities, a microwave and plates and cutlery should you wish to have your own food. There is plenty of parking space for your car outside. All in all, a decent place to stay. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed in The Castle Guesthouse's "Double or Twin Room with Shared Bathroom" for just one night as it was one of the stops on our round trip. Despite the short stay, we enjoyed every second of it. The room (with sea views!), showers, and kitchenette were all neat and clean. The host, Skjöldur, was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a fridge, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing (one of the few opportunities you'll have to eat vegetables in Iceland, take it).
