Loved our stay at Lodge Atelier. We only regret our only regret is not staying longer! The room was very clean, the bed is massive and the comfiest we had for our entire holiday in Japan. The staff were warm and welcoming, the location was great. An added bonus was the private Onsen, which was perfection and a welcome treat to recover from 5 days in Tokyo!

Very kind owner who offered to take us to the station in the morning and made our day better! The accommodation is very creative and DIY, but it would be nice to have installed bug nets in windows and air the room more as the air was bit musty. Fortunately it was winter so we could sleep with open windows anyway and not get bothered by insects. Shower was great and warm. It was ok for us for one night on the way to the mountains, must be fun place in the summer with bbq.

Wonderful little guesthouse in the countryside, very nice staff and excellent breakfast. The onsen in the shower room was a good plus!
