It was a perfect stay. The location is easy to find and provide parking spaces, all the rooms were clean with enough spaces, my kids enjoy the kids play room and toys in the blue cottage. We booked the family room and it was actually a home, with a lot of space and multiple rooms, well equipped to cook, clean and comfortable, and we felt at home immediately. The location is nice as it's literally two minutes from the gorge entrance (by car). The man who did the check in was very welcoming.

Very cozy room with a really friendly hostess. The hostess prepared a meal for me despite the restaurant being closed. In fact, all the restaurants in the viscinity were closed and it was raining heavily, so that was kind of a life-saver. I was in the area mostly to visit the Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, and for that the location is as good as it gets. Buses go from Takamori station to the hotel every hour, but you could also walk (about 3.5 km). Shared bathroom and shower/bath, but I never noticed any of the other guest ( if there were any ). Everything was clean. The only issue was that only a tiny towel was provided. If you can, bring your own. Should be higher rated than it currently is, very nice place with a nice atmosphere.
