New ZealandBefore you book, please know that this is a home stay. You are staying upstairs in someone’s house, and sharing their bathroom facilities. It is like staying in the spare room of a family members house. So the facilities are that level, and so is the cleanliness. Not dirty, but not hotel level. Location is good, some great food spots within walking distance. The room has a mini fridge and freezer, and a really good heat pump/air conditioning unit (I’ve added a photo of the remote with translations of the buttons)
The host woman is very lovely. Does not speak English, but very accommodating and leaves you to your privacy.
