very very good experience in Japan, when I sleep above a tatami bed, I feel like in Japanese drama. Enjoy the サウナ most, if it is possible I wish I can stay here for the rest of my life😆 Thanks for the owner, he pick us up several times from the train station. It really helps! We are really appreciated that the owner and his employee wait us during the very late night and drive us to the サウナ. Thanks an again for the best service. まだね

This was truly one of my favourite experiences I've ever had. Everything was perfect from communication with the lovely owner Yuri, who I had the pleasure of meeting before I left, to the actual house itself. The beds were a lot more comfortable than I thought they would be and had multiple layers with very comfy pillows, the house was very clean and tidy with a very homely feel which immediately made me feel at ease. The tatami mats felt very nice to walk on, and there were plenty of indoor shoes provided. I was really scared coming to another country for the very first time and especially as I am a solo traveller but being in here made me feel at home right away. All of the kimonos and knickknacks and other extras only added to the experience and allows for an authentic traditional experience on a budget. Yuri was very accommodating and quick to respond with everything, and showed genuine care and passion. Truly cannot believe how cheap it is per night for what you get. The area (Izumi Sano) is amazing, far enough from all the hustle and bustle of the city while still having everything you need and easy to get to the larger parts of Osaka. Would highly recommend the gorgeous beach park in Nishikinohama (5 minute train ride from Izumi-Sano station) as well as the gorgeous Junkisshu Kopurple cafe which has lovely personable staff and amazing french toast and soft cream. Not to mention that in addition to the many different drink vending machines in all the many alleys and pathways you can take, there's even one inside the kitchen of the house! And with a lot of the drinks even cheaper than most vending machines outside! There were no negatives for me, just a couple tips I gathered for first timers. It's a very residential area so at night it's extremely quiet which is great but do keep it in mind if hauling luggage.

Second year in a row flying in to Osaka airport late at night. Second year in a row staying at Bighem Maison. Just as good the second time around. So easy to get to from the airport and a great way to spend a night after getting in on a late flight and batting the notorious badly immigration line at Kansai.

I had a wonderful stay. The place is excellent — exceptionally clean, perfectly located, and overall, it offers outstanding value for the price. The communication with the staff was also excellent — they were responsive, helpful, and made everything easier. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay again.

The place was clean and well-maintained. The air conditioning worked properly, and the futons on the tatami mats were comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. The location was convenient, especially for a short stay near the airport.

Near to the train station, just 5 mins walk. There is also an onsen (niji no yu onsen) nearby the beach which is another 10 mins walk. It was self check-in so we can check in whenever we want. The guest house has 2 buildings. We booked a family room which one of the entire building was for us. Toilet & shower are separated. Quiet. There is large heating mat on the bedroom floor.

Cute traditional-styled house in quiet neighbourhood. Clean and sizeable downstairs room, though upstairs mini-rooms looked small. Helpful host who waited until I arrived just past 10pm and woke up early to see me off. Convenient to get to airport by train.

The house is quiet close to the sea, so before leaving Japan, we had the luxuary to spend the last evening by the sea side. There are some swings and a park (10 min walk from the guest house), which the kids loved. There are convenience stores near by. The price / quality is good. We had 1 room with 4 comfy Japanese mattresses. Bath room, kitchen and toilets are shared. Everything is super clean and well maintained.

Great hosts, it is like coming over to your family. We were introduced in their house, with a drink and then introduced to our room and shared facilities. The owner picked us up, dropped us of to eat then dropped us of to go to the public bath and paid for it. And then also picked is up again (this was in the middle of the night). Very fortunate to have been here, unforgettable stay.
