A big shopping centre just down the road and a community bathhouse.

AustraliaWe didnt expect such personal service. Tomo welcomed us into his home, drove us to the local supermarket for supplies, helped us translate, cooked for us, played cards with us. Walls are literally paper thin, so you must be okay being close to others. Very interactive. we stayed because bungy was near, but I am guessing Tomo's adventurous side would be beneficial to those exploring Gifu the adventurous way.

Mega don quijote is also like 20mins walk from the guest house. We got free earrings made by his wife, they're cute and kids like them. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay there. He is very knowledgeable about the spots to visit in the region and we spend the day walking around in Seki city and the surrounding mountains thanks to his advice. I visited the Seki Sword Museum and several shrines in the area on foot from the hotel, only 10-15 minute walk. The car park was large and check-in was smooth and easy. The indoor onsen was small but clean and very welcome after a day driving. There was a code for the women's onsen which I was given at check-in and was very easy to use. The room was a decent size, quiet and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a small but delicious buffet.Guest review byLeilaSolo traveller
