We chose this guesthouse on our way from Nakatsugawa to Nagoya based on the great reviews here and we were very happy with our stay. The owners kindly drove us to and from the train station, as the guesthouse is located quite far away. They have been so welcoming and helpful, and it was a real pleasure to stay in their beautiful house. The 2 bed room is very clean and modern, stocked with many beautiful books about ceramics, art and travelling. There was a storm during our stay and it felt so cozy to stay inside with the rain hitting the ceiling! In the evening, the owner drove us to the nicest onsen facilty we have ever visited, with a choice from many hot spring pools. Even though we have only stayed for one night, it would be lovely to come back one day.

Nagoya Blue Door hostel was the best option I made. Comfortable bed, only 4 people in dorm with window fresh breeze, I slept very well. Kitchen was an extraordinary option. Tub in the bathroom was not expected.super! Everything with passcode enter anytime.
