Also fluent in English, so great for tourists who cannot speak Japanese. You need to prepay your ballance via booking.com, then tell hotel operators abour your later arrival, and send copy of your passport to the provided email address, and they will send you self check-in instructions and codes. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly (the northern hospitality at its best with constant happy smile), all of them. It was immaculate in presentation, style, as well as cleanliness. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, including helping out to get takeaway pizza and takoyaki by an adorable 80-year old - a local secret. The little sweet and card to welcome you in your room, and key chains made out of seashells were very lovely touches.
