It was an absolutly wonderful choice to stay in Lapsi! 7 min by walk to the stunning Maehama beach where you can feel the Miyako Blue, clean and quiet home(the cheerful 3 house doggies were what’s the better), very convenient house rules to stay and super kind and heartwarming host. Only thing you need to be prepared is that there’s no mart or convenient store in walking 15 min distance. We shopped groceries on the 2nd day by taxi and cooked light meals. You can use kitchen utencils and clean up. So comfy, loved the atmosphere, highly recommended for those who need to swim in the ocean anytime you want.

Is like to be in a family, Max is so nice and the accomodation is simply perfect. The position is also good. This island is a heaven and this accomodation was one of my best stay in all Japan. Everything just perfect. Thank you Max, thank you happy island, I left my heart there. ❤️

My boyfriend and I travelled to Miyako together for a surfing holiday. The host of this place, Osan, is incredibly friendly. We had so much fun together and cooked for each other. One day, he took us on a tour around the island and to show us his favourite Soba restaurant. We drank coffee together every morning. He is so welcoming and we didn’t even speak any Japanese. His homestay has 3 different rooms. We stayed in the double room upstairs. The room had an air conditioner and was clean and comfortable. Thank you Osan for making us feel at home! We will come back! どうもありがとうございます!

The Host is very kind nice person and best guide for local area where is not on guidebook. Better to ask local activity, secret beach, best place for coffee and so on. And you can enjoy homemade dinner box if you request in advance as same as a simple breakfast. I enjoyed host's breakfast together with my additional local foods. Btw 2 small local stores in 5 mins walk but close early. At morning, you can wake up with birds singing and having a coffee at large terrace at second floor. At evening, you can enjoy beer with sunset at terrace. At night, further beer with clear starview. Even some weakpoints on thin wall and noise from walkway at second floor, worth staying and enjoying countryside silence with hospitality.
