This gusthouse is very clean and comfortable. Our host, Mr. Kim was outstanding. We had to catch the 8:30 am ferry to Jeju Island with our folding bikes. As it was raining heavily in the morning, Mr. Kim very kindly drove us and our bikes to the ferry.

We were just staying for a night in Mokpo to get our ferry to Jeju island the next day. The guesthouse was SO cute! Instructions are super clear on checking in, the room was spacious and very modern. Shared kitchen that was super clean and tidy with a lovely view and balcony. Staff was amazing in helping us book a taxi in the morning for our ferry.

The guesthouse is ideally located just around the corner from the train station and close to bus stops. The facilities were clean and the hosts friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at the Lighthouse again if in the area.

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable accommodation. There is a common area with a basic kitchen where we can prepare simple meals. Bed was comfortable with a warmer. Was able to get a good night's sleep. Owner was communicative and friendly. Located on a hill near a park.

Free breakfast is always great. Unfortunately, it was just toast and jam. More options would have been appreciated. There also was only coffee, no tea. The self-checkin was very smooth. The owner gives you a lot of information and the codes for the main door, room door and the shoe locker are sent by chat message on the app. It was nice that we could do self-checkin because we arrived late. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a private bathroom, table and two chairs. Also each room has a mini refrigerator with 2 water bottles. I liked that we also received free toothbrush and scrub towel.

I guess I get what I pay for... It was not very expensive, and the place was definitely fresh. But...

This is an excellent choice for Mokpo. Right near the station, there are plenty of food and transport options around. The guesthouse is immaculately clean with large rooms and a great bathroom. Easy checkin. Great value
