The host welcomed me at the bus station. The rooms were very clean and I spent a pleasant night. The family is friendly and their treatment is high-class. The host gave me a rain jacket and an umbrella to protect me from the rain. I will definitely return to this place... The place is run by a respectable and helpful family...

Really friendly hosts! We would recommend booking a room with a mosquito net as there were many. Very clean and great food also!

The staff at this place are some of the kindest people i have had the pleasure of meeting. They made sure that we were comfortable at our time there. The food was amazing and we were never left without tea/coffee. If you are climbing Adam's Peak then you have to stay here.

I loved my time here. Terrence was an incredible host. The staff were lovely. If you have the chance to stay in the double room I highly recommend it, the big glass doors and balcony are a highlight. Food was plentiful and delicious. It is very reasonably priced and is the best location for those wishing to climb Adam’s Peak (it is literally located at the start of the trailhead). We stayed here while visiting Maskeliya, and it was a wonderful experience. The place itself was lovely, with an incredible view, and the staff were truly amazing—friendly, thoughtful, and kind. We were traveling by motorbike (which I wouldn’t recommend during the rainy season), and it rained heavily during our stay. Without us even asking, the staff offered us irons to help dry our clothes and gave us free disposable rain jackets when we were checking out. It was such a thoughtful and helpful gesture. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit Maskeliya!

Breakfast was amazing and perfect after climbing Adams peak. Family who runs the Guest is Fridley and super welcoming. Serene location, had a wonderful time there.

The property is supremely located to do Sri Pada walk from Dalhousie. We had good communication from the hosts - we arrived fairly late on the local bus, and the host came out met us and took our bags for us. We are both dinner and breakfast at The Peak - both were delicious. The breakfast the largest and yummiest we have had. The room was spacious and clean.

We had an amazing stay at Heavens Hills! The room was super clean, we had a lot of space and it had everything we needed. It was quiet. We could enjoy a nice balcony with a nice view. The owner was very helpful and helped us with all the questions we had to make us enjoy our stay. Would recommend 100%. Maskeliya is a small village nestled in beautiful mountains very close to Adam's Peak and to stunning waterfalls, not very touristic and with nice people. It is a great opportunity to also volunteer in the close by Tea Leaf Trust school helping young people from tea plantation workers.
