We loved the location and the staff were great. We went in winter. Planning another trip in summer when we can sit outside and watch the night sky. There were lots of quirky things to look at and if you love old pick up rrucks and memorabilia you will spend a lot of time poking around and talking with the friendly staff. The cabin was just as quirky as the rest of the place.. Highlights were the fabulous shower and the beautiful comfy bed. The cabin is tiny but very well set out and it had everything we needed. There is a porch with table and chairs to relax and enjoy the mountain air.

    Everything. Great hosts, great location, the country feel right in the centre of Tekapo was awesome. Loved feeding the animal’s especially because our Aussie friends had never seen a sheep let alone fed one. Cottage was gorgeous. Such a lovely vibe after staying in new city apartments that are all the same.
