United KingdomThe room was a bit small and the shower room was very cramped. There was no hot water, though I’m not sure if that’s common across all hotels and hostels on the island. The building itself is quite basic in construction, but it’s set right on the water—actually built over it—which gives it a unique charm.
There’s a lovely deck where you can relax and enjoy the view. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions or needs.
There are a couple of nice restaurants on either side of the hostel.
I would stay here again.

The hosts, Carmen and Marcel, create very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and they are very helpful with all the recommendations. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is great. Carmen also cooks dinner sometimes, if you are lucky to be there that day, I definitely recommend to join, it’s delicious.
