United KingdomSpacious and clean property. No other guests at the time so it was like having a self contained flat all to ourselves. There was a smart TV in the lounge so the kids were happy. You can walk into town in 5mins. Good air con. Very friendly host who spoke good english and was helpful

EstoniaThe host was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Rooms were nice and clean, the best linen and comfortable beds in Tunisia. Rooftop was nice, we enojoyed reading there. I would have wanted to stay longer in Dar Maya. I am really thankful for everything they had prepared.

The hosts were away, but left it in good hands with the breakfast lady who gave a very good breakfast each morning, The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and parking is easy. The dinner choices were typically a mile or so away, so a car is preferable - museums are close. The a/c worked in the room, but took rather a long time to cool it off. I have stayed in many guesthouses and hotels, but rarely did I find such a gem. Fatima and Taieb are amazing people that make you feel at home from the day you arrive, or probably already before. They know the region like their backpocket, and can give suggestions of where to go in the whole of Tunisia. Taieb helped me discover places that I would never be able to find alone.
